BAYSWATER NEWS
Welcome
By Kathrin Bogunovic
Thank you to all the residents and families who have reached out
and welcomed me in my new role at Bayswater Gardens. When I
consider the great relationships that we have established, it’s hard Residents visited Dural Orchid Extravaganza
to believe that we only opened six months ago.
In the past I have held many diverse positions, both at the facility
and corporate level. I have learned to appreciate the hard work of
each individual staff member, their compassion and dedication.
During the last 30 years that I worked in the Aged Care industry I
have seen many positive changes. The implementation of those
changes attracted me to work for Cranbrook Care. It is a pleasure to
work in such beautiful environment and having such a great support
system to call on. But most of all I like the well‐established nurturing
culture of our Cranbrook Care family. Alice's birthday
As a team we are constantly evolving and striving to improve and
enhance our service model. Recently some members of our team
attended the Better Practice Conference conducted by the
Accreditation Agency. Community integration, choice and decision
making were the main focus of the many presentations. Watch this
space, we certainly have a few ideas of how to improve our
residents’ interaction with local communities.
We have some fantastic events coming up to entertain you. Our
'Pets on the Lawn' event is planned on 23 September. We were able Auburn Botanical Gardens
to engage the service of a local vet who will provide a free nail
check. Our 'Wine and Cheese Festival' will be held on 18 October.
We are looking forward to greeting you and your family.
My door is always open and you are welcome to just 'drop in'
anytime.
With warm wishes
