SUMMER 2023
BAYSWATER NEWS
Welcome
By Annette Swerydow
Hi Bayswater Gardens residents and friends, Summer is
here and it’s going to be a hot one! Meteorologists predict
less rain too. Be mindful when walking or sitting outside in
the garden. Wear a hat and don’t stay in direct sun too long.
Don’t forget to drink water, just ask staff to get you a glass
and my advice would be to ask them to add water to your
fruit juices too. I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas.
Looking forward to celebrating with you all.
It’s been a busy Spring with our Enhanced Services Package
thanks to the Leisure and Lifestyle team. I must say
Grandkids Day was a blast. The magic show was so good, Embraced the spring sunshine.
and the kids had a ball. The boys enjoyed their “men’s only
Father’s Day BBQ”. We had our garden competition and a
lot more. The mobile voting went well. The polling officers
said our home was the most organised compared to all the
other homes they had been too. Bayswater Gardens were
the first to host Cranbrook Care’s Resident Advisory Body
meeting last Friday. The meeting focused on food and the
general feedback was positive. All the representatives
commented the event went well and they enjoyed
representing Cranbrook Care and looking forward to the
next meeting in January next year.
Cheers to our new residents, John, June, Rosalind, Nancye,
Barry, Peter, Graham, and Dr. Lindsay! Also, a big shoutout
to our Standing Ovation winners Niraj Kharel, Sofia Cascio,
Manisha Khadgi, Apsara Gurung, Kabita Raut, Karuna
Ranabhat, and Mamta Gurung! I’m pleased to say our Irresistible: Fresh fruits, cheese, and
agency usage has decreased with more Bayswater Gardens crackers.
staff onboard. Committed to excellence, and we focus on
residents’ needs.
