With the generous and enthusiastic support of
knitters and volunteers, 'Wrap with Love' wrap
more than 30,000 people with love and warmth
each year, in Australia and around the World.
Our ‘Compassionate Knatty Knitters’ at Lansdowne
Gardens, Bella Vista Gardens and William Cape Gardens
have been very busy. The knitting group program is where
residents get to together weekly, have a cuppa, and solve
the world’s problems one stitch at a time. Each residence is
working on knitting squares to donate to the charity ‘Wrap
with Love.’
‘Wrap with Love’ is a not for profit organisation who collect
knitted squares in order to make blankets to aid those who
are experiencing extreme poverty and natural disasters in
Australia and around the world. ‘Wrap with Love’ work
with national and international aid agencies of high repute,
who make sure that the blankets are delivered directly to News from Cranbrook Care
people in areas of trauma and need.
