GNS kicks off 50th year Celebration with GNS Shiva Chesed Committee is started. Scholars Kollel begins
many chesed and events planned for the
year ahead and Torah dedication:
• Siyum Mishnaot and Shabbat program 2009
with scholars in residence.
• Torah dedication in honor of Rabbi
Dr. Ephraim and Elaine Wolf and key
founders of the synagogue.
• Monthly Chesed Collections begins.
Rabbi Jensen, Rabbi Moskowitz, Rabbi Weinstein Torah and Technology Center
Polakoff and Cantor Kron star in the first Purim opens.

Rabbi Dale Polakoff honored at GNS Annual
Dinner. Gali’s Garden is planned in loving
memory of Gail Polakoff z”l. Weekday Parochet donated by the
Horn Family.

GNS brought food, medical, & school
supplies to help victims of Hurricane Katrina
in New Orleans.

2006
Building for the Future Campaign –
construction of GNS Youth Center officially
begins. Helene M. Fink Sukkah dedicated.
GNS Israel mission trip led by Rabbi Polakoff.
First Sharon Sokol Heisler Annual Memorial
Family Luncheon.

Mark Twersky joins GNS
as the Executive Director. Rabbi Shalom Axelrod 2007
becomes Assistant Rabbi
of GNS.

Dario Tavares takes over Yom Tov Parochets donated by the
Oswaldo Colon’s position. Aryeh Family.
