We constantly challenge ourselves for better and more sustaina- ble technologies that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Through targeted acquisitions we enhance our portfolio, expand our capabilities and build additional knowledge that is crucial for us to live up to our purpose of pioneering motion.
As guiding principle, we aim to integrate acquired brands under our Schaeffler brand as directly and fast as strategically reaso- nable and to reduce the complexity of cost-intensive multi-brand management. In cases where a direct integration is strategically not reasonable, alternative options apply: step-wise integration, endorsement, or in exceptional circumstances, no integration. Our Schaeffler Brand Migration Navigator provides guidance and supporting questions for an initial migration direction, to be aligned with Global Branding & Corporate Marketing.
For brands that are gradually integrated or endorsed, the visual connection with the Schaeffler brand through the descriptor en- dorsement (“A Schaeffler Company”) helps to build a clear link with our Schaeffler brand universe.
