www curatorial assistant to the international research project, Aby Warburg’s Legacy and the Future of Iconology, at the Warburg Institute in London. Most recently, I co-curated an exhibition entitled Metadata: How We Relate To Images at Central Saint Martins in January 2018. I am also preparing a PhD project on the pathways of art appropriation in early 19th century Germany.
Jonny Porter: After graduating from Cambridge, I spent some time abroad before beginning the Teach First programme in Birmingham. I trained and taught there for two years before co-founding a free school in North-West London. The school has now been going for four years and we are awaiting our first set of GCSE results in 2019. Fingers crossed! I am also engaged to the wonderful Claire and we’re getting
DRYDEN
Margot Arthur: I worked in Madrid and travelled round South America (for a bit with Maggie Forrest) on my gap year. I then read Arabic and Farsi at Pembroke College, Oxford, which involved a year abroad in Cairo in 2010-11 - the Arab Spring year. I took up rowing at Oxford and was part of Pembroke's headship- winning women's boat and ran the Brighton Marathon for Oundle School Mencap Holidays. After graduating, I worked for the British Council: in Cairo for two years and then at the head office in London for the Iran team. I now advise government ministers on geopolitical issues that affect UK trade with Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan for the Department for International Trade. Working at DIT took me briefly to Bahrain, where I was Acting Head of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy. I hope to return to the region soon. I enjoy seeing Jonny Porter (C 08) and other OOs at Grocers’ events.
Kate Dillon: After Oundle I marched straight on to medical school at Sheffield University, where I qualified as a doctor in 2013. I then spent two years in foundation training,
married in September.
Freddie Richardson: I studied Biochemistry at the University of Leeds. After two years in London, I moved to New York to join a hedge fund and I love living here. I am now studying for my MBA on the weekends at Columbia University but still find time to enjoy the city and visit England.
Ka Ho Tam: After obtaining my Physics degree at Imperial College, I've worked for several years in an engineering company in Oxford. I'm now doing a PhD in Biomedical Imaging at Oxford. Apart from photography, I'm also keen on hiking and scuba diving, and have recently started learning to fly sailplanes.
Jacky Yu: I studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Bristol, and then worked in London at
various accounting firms, before moving into a software company. Outside of work, I still play plenty of tennis at Paddington Sports Club.
Poh Jing Yu: Upon leaving Oundle, I completed a degree in Medicine at the National University of Singapore. After graduating, I spent two years serving the nation and completed my National Service as a Lieutenant before taking up my general practitioner training. I am currently working as a GP with Access Medical. In my spare time I continue to dive avidly and have recently come back from the Maldives. My other big update is that I am engaged to my wonderful fiancée, Ding Fang. She is also a doctor and has just started her second year of postgraduate training as a neurologist. We’re planning to marry in September this year.

discovering a love of emergency medicine, before deciding to take a year out to explore other interests. That one year quickly turned into three! I spent the first two years travelling and working as an expedition medic, helping charity groups complete trekking challenges around the world to raise money. Since May 2017 I have been working for the British Antarctic Survey. I am currently living at Rothera Research Station in the middle of the Antarctic winter and will remain in Antarctica until April 2019.
Maggie Forrest: I became a professional makeup artist in 2011, working on TV shows like The X
Factor, various films and London and Paris fashion weeks. I even squeezed in a couple of OO brides along the way! After working predominantly in fashion, for shoots featured in Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair, I was offered a role at IMG Models, working for the women’s board, finding new talent and looking after new signings. I have since made the transition into advertising, working in account management for Y&R. I live in Vauxhall with my boyfriend, Jack, and am very much looking forward to the various upcoming Dryden nuptials!
