SECTION 1: ORIENTATION

               Welcome Humans (and AIs)

Let’s be honest: most of what’s out there about “prompting” feels exhausting. Endless
screenshots, oversized templates, and “super prompts” that promise miracles - all designed to
make AI look clever instead of helping you think more clearly.

But here’s the quiet truth no one talks about - those prompts are long because they’re empty.
They’re carrying all the context the Human never gave. When you don’t bring your own story, your
own situation, your own questions, the machine has to pretend it knows you.

                                         That’s not intelligence. That’s theatre.

In Life^Work, we flip that script. You bring the context - who you are, where you are, what you’re
exploring - and your AI partner meets you there. The magic isn’t in the prompt; it’s in the
               conversation that follows.

               Prompt Engineering vs Context Engineering
Most people use AI reactively: they type a question, hit enter, and wait. That’s prompt
engineering - clever wording, passive posture. In Life^Work, we practise context engineering.

You lead. You feed context, set intention, and play.

This first Chat^Book is an experiment in collaboration - one where you stop waiting for the
machine to be brilliant and start using it as a mirror for your own talents. When you feed Chatty
with your words, reflections, and truth, it sharpens. When Chatty mirrors them back, you do too.
That’s the real point of this work - learning how to think with AI, not through it.

               The Life^Work Way
We treat AI as a mirror, a partner and a lever - not a gimmick. If you show up with even a scrap of
story, the right dialogue helps you see it differently. You don’t need the newest model; you need
a better way of working with what you already have.

This is a practice - one you can return to again and again with new context each time.
Each round teaches you how to see, decide, and act with more intelligence - and less noise.
