INSTITUTE
INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT
Robert Orozco
Robert has been a professional investigator for almost two decades. Robert is highly experienced
and specializes in surveillance investigations for insurance companies, corporations, and family
law attorneys. Robert utilizes his years of experience and knowledge to obtain the most factual
information possible to help our clients create effective legal strategies, uncover fraud, resolve
claims, and protect their assets and brand. Robert has trained investigators in mobile
surveillance, how to use the latest surveillance equipment, and how to write effective and
professional reports. In early 2010, Robert became involved and testified to defeat Colorado
HB10-1012, a bill that would have eliminated surveillance in Colorado workers’ compensation
investigations. Robert became President of the Professional Private Investigators Association of
Colorado in November 2010. During his term as president, he was influential in introducing
Colorado’s PI Licensing bill. The bill ultimately passed into law after 36 years of previous attempts
by PPIAC. Though the PI law was discontinued in 2021, Robert continues to encourage Colorado
investigators to obtain PI licenses in other states to provide consumer confidence and to elevate
the standards of professionalism for private investigators. Arizona Agency License #1693213 &
Utah License #R-112221.
