Welcome Friends & Supporters:

As Mayor of the City of Danbury, it is my pleasure to
welcome you to the Ives Concert Park.

This year we are hosting a variety of community events
that will showcase the beauty of this 39-acre outdoor entertainment venue.

This year, the Ives Concert Park was chosen as the venue for the 2016 Connecticut
Open House Day. In conjunction with the CT Office of Tourism, the one-day event
welcomed visitors from across the state to discover the very best of Connecticut’s
art, history and countless treasures.

We welcomed back the wildly popular Brews & BBQ, a festival celebrating local
breweries and supporting Connecticut businesses. We also hosted Art at Ives, a fine
arts and crafts show that highlighted 75 national artists and a diverse scope of art
forms. This August, the Westside Reggae Festival is back with great musical acts
and fun vibes that will sweep you away.

It takes a lot of work throughout the year to bring you great community events like
these and I thank everyone who is committed to the Park’s success including the
Ives Authority, Park staff, all the dedicated volunteers, and the generous sponsors
who have helped make the Ives Concert Park such a special venue.

On behalf of the City of Danbury, I thank you for your patronage and for helping us to
continue celebrating the arts this 2016 season.
