A Message from the Dean

At Ross University School of Medicine, our mission goes beyond education. We
prepare physicians who are ready to serve, lead, and make a meaningful difference
in the communities where they train and practice.

We are proud of our students and the resilience they demonstrate throughout their
training. They graduate equipped to care for diverse populations with clinical
excellence, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose.

These achievements are made possible by an extraordinary community. I extend my
sincere gratitude to our clinical faculty, preceptors, and site leaders, whose
teaching and mentorship shape our learners every day, as well as to our health system
partners and community stakeholders who create the environments where
                                          meaningful clinical learning takes place.

I also thank our RUSM and Covista leadership for their vision and support, and our
alumni for their continued engagement. We welcome prospective students and
collaborators who share our commitment to advancing medical education and
                                          improving health outcomes.

Cheryl Holmes, MD, FRCPC, MHPE Our partnerships with clinical sites are grounded in a shared commitment to

Dean, Ross University School of patient care, workforce development, scholarship, and community engagement.
Medicine Within these settings, our students do more than learn - they contribute, build

relationships, and become part of the communities they serve.

RossMed Day reflects that shared work - recognizing student achievement,
strengthening collaboration, and supporting professional identity formation as
                                          learners prepare for residency.

Many of our graduates go on to serve in the very communities where they trained. This
continuity strengthens care, builds trust, and reinforces the connection between
                                          education and long-term service.

I am deeply grateful for the commitment, partnership, and shared purpose that
each of you brings to this work.
