Scholarship. Mentorship. Community. Preparing Physicians for Impact.

     Purpose and Continuing Impact of

     RossMed Day

RossMed Day showcases student work and reflects a

shared commitment to developing physicians who think

critically, engage in scholarship, and contribute

meaningfully to the communities they serve.

Through oral and poster presentations, students apply

clinical knowledge, explore complex cases, and engage in

scholarly inquiry. These experiences are an important part

of professional development, helping students build the

skills needed for residency and future clinical practice.

     Equally important, RossMed Day strengthens

connections between students, faculty, and our clinical

partners. It creates space for mentorship, collaboration,

and the exchange of ideas across disciplines and training

     environ ments.

     Next Steps: From Presentation to

     Scholarship

For many students, RossMed Day represents the

beginning - not the end - of scholarly work. We encourage

students to continue developing their projects for broader

     dissemination.

     This may include:

     • Expanding case reports or research into manuscript

         submissions

     • Presenting at regional or national conferences

     • Collaborating with faculty mentors to further refine

         and publish their work

Students are encouraged to work closely with faculty

advisors and clinical mentors to identify appropriate

journals, conferences, and next steps. Developing these
projects beyond RossMed Day strengthens residency
applications and contributes to the broader medical
     community. RossMed Day 4
