Dr. Anngell Jones is a board-certified General and Breast Surgeon and the Chair of the
Department of Surgery at Sinai Chicago. A proud Chicago native, Dr. Jones brings a deep sense of
purpose and community commitment to her work, leading a diverse and collaborative team that
delivers high-quality, compassionate care to some of the city’s most underserved populations.
Dr. Jones earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
and completed her general surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She
is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has dedicated her career to advancing
surgical care while mentoring the next generation of physicians. At Sinai, she plays a pivotal role
in graduate medical education, guiding residents through hands-on clinical training with a strong
emphasis on health equity and community engagement.
Her clinical expertise spans a broad range of general surgical procedures, with a special focus on
breast health. Dr. Jones is particularly passionate about women’s health advocacy, encouraging
preventive screenings and early detection as essential tools in achieving better health outcomes.
She frequently reminds patients that prioritizing their own well-being puts them in the best
position to care for others.

Dr. Jeen-Soo Chang, MD, MS, is the President and Chief Medical Officer of Holy Cross Hospital, a
member of Sinai Chicago. With board certifications in family medicine and geriatric medicine, Dr. Chang
brings over two decades of clinical and administrative experience to his leadership role.
A dedicated advocate for community-based healthcare, Dr. Chang has been instrumental in advancing
Holy Cross Hospital's mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care to Chicago's diverse
populations. His leadership emphasizes preventive care, health equity, and culturally responsive
services.
