COMMENTARY: MEMBERS ETHICS & CONDUCT
What kind of a
Team Player are you?
When CBI was originally conceived, it started out as Uhuru Tribe. The dream and prime objective was to help those who do not have a steady and consistent income to create such, and help them build a wealth creation portfolio that would establish them, without fear of the future and their retirement. The solution then was to establish a networking business platform where members would get their income in commission form, rather than us paying exorbitant fees on advertising campaigns.
This worked fairly well, and as long as we had people and members in the system that understood the idea behind it, who identified themselves with our values and objectives, as well as the importance of distributing and sharing your
appreciation to those who enabled you to improve your financial well- being, we were set. Despite our bona fide good intentions, it has sadly, however, come to the attention of management and stakeholders that it is no longer the norm, as we have so many members that have absolutely no regard and appreciation for those who introduced them to CBI and only think of themselves.
What this then implies, through the conduct of said members is that the spirit of Ubuntu that was, and still is supposed to be the undertone and motto of CBI, no longer exists as is should. What is amazing and a contradictory observation is that when these same members make use of the services of a lawyer, doctor, mechanic or even the services of the
person who sells them their insurance policies, they pay the fees required by these people. They understand right from the beginning that they will have to pay the commissions of those who sell them anything – even if the policy is paying much less out after many years than what the buyer contributed!
So why is it that within CBI, once some members have seen the results of the products they partake in, they try and move themselves around within the system in order to bypass the commission that was and is rightfully that of the person who introduced them to this great opportunity? Is it that you are so ungrateful for the golden opportunity offered to you, or has greed overtaken you or will you just not show some appreciation for
