Human Body

The human body is a wonderful and complex system that keeps us alive and well.
Human body has both internal and external body parts.
The body parts that we can see are called external body parts. Hair, eyes, forehead,

nose, ears, chin, chest, elbow and many others are external body parts.
The body parts which we cannot see are called internal body parts. Brain, lungs,
heart, thyroid, kidneys and many others are internal body organs.

Read the hints given below and write the names of the body organs from ‘Hint Box’.

1. It is the controller of our body. It helps us think, remember things, and feel

emotions.

2. It is found inside our belly. The food we eat goes into it.

3. It is located inside the left side of our chest. It is responsible for pumping blood

to all parts of our body.

4. It is located on the right side of our body, just below the ribs. It cleans our blood

by removing harmful substances.

5. It is a pair of bean-shaped organs. It removes waste and extra fluid from the

blood in the form of urine.

6. It is important for turning the food we eat into energy for our bodies.
