selection panel

• At the 30 WFB General Conference: Award presentation by The WFB

Agenda 3 There was a discussion regarding friendship gatherings /tours for
members of The WFB Regional Centres and their families.
Resolution 3
To conduct a Buddhist pilgrimage to India and/or Sri Lanka for members of
The WFB Regional Centres and their families.
Other possibilities include opportunities for members of The WFB Regional
Centres and their families to participate in a Temple Stay during their visit to
Korea in B.E. 2563 (2020).
The WFB Regional Centres members and their families visiting Australia should
contact the standing committee Chairperson for advice and support during
their visit if required.
Agenda 4 With strong commitment, committee members discussed the need
and way to create a plan that will enhance Unity and Solidarity
between The WFB Regional Centres and Standing committees
Resolution 4
To create a plan which develops networking and communication between The
WFB Regional Centres and all Standing committees for the purposes of sharing
resources, cooperating together, and providing beneficial support. Thanks to Ven.
Thich Phuoc Tan, Mr. Frank Carter and Mr. Sang Dae Lee who are interested
in working together on this plan on behalf of the Committee.
Other Business
Mrs. Madhuri Kamble informed the committee that there are communities in
India requesting Buddha images, preferably 5 feet in height and in the Thai style.
Mr. Sombat Sinsarn from Thailand offered to help in this matter.
