told her worrying friend. Sireinamelosjhara looked at her as if she was crazy. When
they looked back the shadow was gone.
They looked around then heard a little noise. So they looked closer; it was a tiny
yellow dot. As it got close enough, the girls realized it was a baby looking Grimpoteuthis
(GRIMP-O-TOOTH-US) .
“Awww!!!..... It's SO cute!” Colshios squealed in pure joy. She loved Grimpoteuthis, also
known as a dumbo octopus. She had even did her science research project on them in the
8th grade. Because she loved them so much. She was always fascinated by them and how
they could use their ear like fins to propel around in the water and navigate through
water currents. And on average they could be anywhere between 20-30 cm in size. She loved
tiny things, and found them so cute. She didn’t even mind that they couldn’t ink, they still
were quite poisonous nonetheless like any other Octopus in the sea..
The girls relaxed a little as octo swam circles around Colshios with bubbles. “Ok, ok
little monster stop..(Giggles) and what's your name?” She giggled, as she stretched out her
hand from being tickled with the bubbles that the little guy was making "Elcoe. (L-Ko)"
The little octopus replied. “Elcoe that’s a beautiful name.” Colshios replied. “Wait, you can
understand it?” Sireinamelosjhara asked, surprised. She was simply shocked that the two
could communicate with one another. “Yes, can’t you?” Colshios replied. “No All I hear
