And here we are again,
It’s a cycle,
Justice, peace, corruption, but
What we need is ACTION
Freedom, a revolution
To fighting for what’s right
Like many more before us,
Black Lives Matter
And before the oppressor we shall not matter
Education, demonstration, explanation
As a minority
We stand in unity
This is a perpetual problem
And it will be terminated.
But here we are again
Facing the same issue
Is ever there really going to be an end,
To this war, to the discrimination,
To the taboo subject of racism?
Does it make your blood boil?
Does its blade result in your death?
Are you afraid?
Oppressed?
Manipulated?
Do you know the feeling?
The anxiety?
And all this… for what?
Our race
We plead for your help.
But here we are again.

The Fight
Time lost and changing minds,
The sun a glimpse of paradise.
The streets we walk on a war zone,
Only connected though the phone.
People killed for the colour of their skin,
And a world where being gay is a sin.
We can’t put all our problems in a bottle and just close the lid,
The world may have stopped but the fight never did.
