a) In which interval is f(x) only increasing?
b) Find the value of x for which the function has a minimum value.
Solution:
a) f(x) increases when the value of x increases. The value of x increases from the interval – 2 to 4
b) The function has a minimum value when the graph changes from decreasing to increasing. x= – 2
