FIRST AID AND ACCIDENT REPORTING

SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SERVICES

● All accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences must be

reported to your supervisor or safety officer immediately.

● Accidents that are not reported on the day of the accident cannot be

verified or investigated.

● Accidents must be recorded on the STS accident reporting documents.

Ensure you know:

● Who the First Aiders are.

● Where the First Aid boxes are.

● Where the Accident must be reported.

● Certain accidents and dangerous occurrences have to be reported to the

Enforcing Authority.

● NOTE, the list of First Aider’s and arrangements will be provided in more

detail at the SITE -SPECIFIC INDUCTION.
