MANUAL HANDLING
SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SERVICES
● All Manual Handling tasks will be risk assessed prior to work
commencing and appropriate training/instruction will be
provided.
● Avoid manual handling where possible.
● USE Mechanical lifting equipment where possible and do not lift
if you are any way concerned about the load to be lifted.
● Consider team lifting to distribute the load.
● Please report any pre-existing health conditions, particularly
back injuries to your supervisor.
