1. E-Verify procedures
What are districts’ responsibilities when working with a
vendor? What does a district need to do to ensure that a
vendor is complying?

2. 403(b)/457(b) Update - It never stops - more
legislation and regulatory requirements
Governmental retirement plans including 403(b) and
457(b) plans continue to be on our federal legislators
and regulators agendas. Learn about pending
legislation including fee and investment disclosures
and the IRS audit initiative and prototype document
programs. Don’t be left feeling all is well until the
last minute when compliance requirements become
effective; be prepared.

3. Relationships with Booster Clubs and PTSO’s
Relationships with outside organizations have to
follow strict guidelines when working with student
clubs, fundraisers, governing board recognition and
approval, as well as auditor requirements. Booster
Clubs and PTSO’s also have IRS requirements they
must adhere to before a relationship with schools can
begin. We’ll discuss all these issues and what you can
do to protect yourself as well as have a great working
relationship with these groups.
