Suddenly, you hear a cheerful voice and see the young man jump. A book bounced off Tae’s head, landing in his lap. Hanging off the side of the rafter is a young woman, tilting her head and smirking at the man. Did she just throw that? Her hair is mostly black, but there are streaks of silver. Her eyes are also gold, which is a stark contrast to her black clothing, barely visible in the dark. She just called the young man “Tae,” and she looks like a younger version of Alex Avon. You realize you’ve been following Prince Tae Avon, and that’s how he knew the secret passages. It makes sense. The two of them continue to talk quietly, and Alex climbs onto the rafter, taking a seat in front of Tae. You think about how outlandish everything is, being this close to some of the past royals. But why this specific time? Why are you following Tae? Why are they young? What kind of insane dream is this? Could you use this for class...?
Mustering up some courage, you scoot yourself across the beam until you are directly behind Alex, clearly hearing what they're talking about. Something about Tae having a copy of The Eras of Change.
