ABOUT THIS INTERACTIVE MODULE
Hi! I am Teacher Kristine and I will guide you in
exploring this scientific adventure. Exciting,
isn’t it? But before we start, make sure to read
the information written below.
This interactive module is intended for Grade 7 students taking up Science
subject. The lessons included in this interactive module are aligned with the
Department of Education K-12 Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC).
This interactive module is composed of the following parts which are based
from 5-Es of Inquiry-based Approach.
Engagement: Connecting the current concept with prior experience and
understanding.
Exploration: Providing activities that will lead learners through inquiry-based
questions.
Explanation: Gathering and presenting concepts based from the learners
understanding of the activities.
Elaboration: Knowledge and vocabulary that the learner has gained will be
elaborated upon and explored.
Evaluation: Assessing and evaluating the learning that has taken place through
performance, informal, and formal assessments.
