UGL 3.0’s program mixes traditional library functions with entertainment and recreation spaces. The varied program reflects the
idea that experiential learning is something Howard’s library should nurture in students, as well as active learning. Having this
broad range of spaces enables UGL 3.0 to reach students in ways beyond the capacities of Howard’s existing libraries.
