The Leader's Responsibility
THE LEADER HAS WORK TO DO
• The leader has to make 'leaders' of others as a matter of responsibility. Leadership development is not just up to the follower.
• The leader must do whatever will encourage followers to willingly imitate him or her. He is expected to reproduce himself in every follower.
• The leader cannot be unmindful of the fact that followers are watching and his example is of strategic importance for the development of his reports.
