 Chapter 5 Father, I Thank You Not many appreciate the power of the prayer of thanksgiving. It hits T the ‘bullseye’ when done well. here is a feature of the prayer life of Jesus that appears salient but remains a great source of power. It is the prayer of thanksgiving. Jesus can be said to be fond of praying this prayer, “Father, I thank You.” Jesus demonstrated a grateful heart at all times. Thanksgiving featured in many of His prayers. Just like is typical of His style, he tends to keep it short as well but I believe deeply heartfelt. When He was faced with the case of Lazarus, He offered a prayer at the entrance: John 11:22,41-42 NKJV But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” \[41\] Then they took away the stone from the place
