BULLSEYE PRAYERS calling. Those who rise up to take up the responsibility enjoy a special place with God and it shows in how promptly He answers their prayers. Just like we did with the prayer discussed in the previous chapter, we must be careful never to think that “Your kingdom come” is a verbose or vague prayer. It should not be taken as a general prayer also. Except one does not have a good understanding of what it means, it is a perfectly composed prayer handed to us by the Lord Jesus. We have taken the time to express some of the characteristics of the coming of the kingdom. Those are the elements being addressed when we commit ourselves to this prayer point. It is unnecessary to attempt a breakdown of the prayer point except we are just looking to add words to our prayers. It is sufficient to cry to God that His kingdom should come. Can you see another reason why our prayers fail to get answered? God is committed to the building of His church and frustrating the agenda of hades to prevail against it. However, God is looking for those who would stand in the gap to secure and sustain His hand of protection and preservation upon the church. 86.
