DAY 13 DEPARTURE

March 4, 2019: ( Day 13 on our own) instead of waiting
at the airport for our midnight flight, Linda and I
took a cab to Buenos Aires to enjoy chocolate con
churros at the famous Cafe Tortoni. After standing
for almost an hour with many tourists who are here
primarily to witness the Buenos Aires Carnival, we
got our table and was pleasantly surprised to have
the same waiter who served when Ernie and me first
came here.

From the Cafe and after a brief window shopping,
we gathered our belongings and proceeded to the
airport to end our Antarctica journey and to go back
to San Francisco.
