The Piramide de Mayo is the oldest monument in the square and
every Thursday afternoon, the mothers and grandmothers of
the disappeared youth, marched around it wearing their white
bandannas waiting for answers regarding the whereabouts of
their loved ones.
Cementerio de Recoleta is a must place to stop and see because
of the beautiful and intricate, sometimes gaudy mausoleums
built for the rich and famous, and the most famous of them is
no other than Evita Peron (Dont Cry for Me, Argentina).
