PYRAMIDS
It is a structure with triangular outer surfaces and a single point at the top and its
shape is roughly a pyramid in geometrical terms.
The base of a pyramid can be a triangle,
rectangle or any polygon shape.
Pyramids were built by different civilizations in many parts of the world.
The largest pyramid by volume is the Great Pyramid
of Cholula in the Mexican state of Puebla.
SPECIFICATIONS
• If A is floor area and h is height, the volume of the pyramid is
V=1/3.A.h
• If y is flank height, the flank height is the hypotenuse of the right
triangle formed by the height and the radius, the area of the
pyramid is A+lateral area
• Lateral area= (Base perimeter.Side face height)/2
