he Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the complete shutdown of our
SMC Wellness gym for two months. During this time, our staff
Tcontinued to write at-home programs for our clients, remodeled
our entire gym space, and our SMC Wellness
Center staff helped to support other areas of
the hospital. Even though being closed was
not what any of our team wanted, the op-
portunity to work in other areas of the hos-
pital was both eye opening and extremely
rewarding. It gave our SMC Wellness team
members a different perspective of what our
fellow co-workers do and how important
everyone’s job throughout our entire facil-

re-opened our doors in mid-May with many
new guidelines to follow. We are extremely
thankful to be open and continue to serve
our clients despite Covid-19 negatively af-

people start to get their vaccinations we are
seeing our numbers increase and we cannot
wait for the day that we can return to nor-

tients. These PPE donations were greatly appreciated and provided a
safe environment for everyone. The SMC Clinic team demonstrated
