I'm quite excited to hear what you find out. Bjørn and I can easily spend the day
working. ”
Tom sends a profound smile, then starts eating his steamy hot dish in front of
him.

The visit to Beatrice
After lunch, Tom rushes back to the office. He sends a "thank you"-message to
Eva from IT. She has been swift to get the old reports from 1984, which were
actually filed in Tåstrup, after everything was digitalized. Even so, she has asked
two officers to hurry to Tåstrup and retrieve the original reports and related
documents and hand them over to him. He didn’t ask for it, but now they lay on
his desk like a real block of cardboard and paper in a black plastic box, neatly
assembled with rubber bands around wrapped around it. His work phone, which
he left in the desk drawer while he went to lunch, flashes; mail has arrived. He
open and reads it.
Dear Tom!
The meeting at 3 o’clock is fine.
I’m looking forward to hear what you have to tell me.
Regards, Beatrice
Knudsen & Thorsen Lawyers.
"Oh, brilliant," he exclaims to himself, settling in the office chair.
He had called at. 10 a.m. this morning and caught up with a secretary who
promised to file his request to have an emergency meeting with attorney
Beatrice Thorsen. According to the secretary, Beatrice would first arrive in at 11
a.m., but she would leave a message for her. He had briefly stated what it was
about Beatrice's deceased husband.
