A moment goes by then Gustav's voice comes through. "Hi Claire. Good to hear

from you, I was expecting your call."
"Hi babe, I just wanted to tell you that the meeting went well." She says it in a

way so that she sounds as confident as possible. It has be nice day today; they're

both exhausted of last week's drama.
"Ohh, how great," he quickly replies. "Then there is gradually a basis for us to

                   move forward."

She loves his accent. He makes it exotic, she thinks, even if he refuses to tell her
where it came from. She has gradually found out that he does not bother to talk

about his childhood and youth. His standing explanation goes that he lived most
of his childhood in Hamburg, where there are many who speak with dialect.

"I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight," he says. “I'm actually thinking about

ending the meeting a little bit before coming out to you; then we could go in and
eat together at Osteria on Schillerstrasse. "

They are both big fans of Italian food, and Osteria in Schillerstrasse has the best

chefs. They’ve both gradually agreed on making it a weekly event to eat there.
"That sounds like a great idea," she replies.

“I thought we needed some relaxation, so I booked a room from tomorrow to
Friday at Hotel Imperial. Then we could go ski a bit after that, get some wine, go

swimming and exercise in the morning, ”he continues.

"Gustav, you know I love you, but do you really have time for all this now?"
“Listen babe, I got to leave Munich. Right now I’m rotting away with Bonnert. At

the moment the sight of him makes me nauseous. After the accounts he

presented to me in December, he finally made the company generate a
microscopic profit, he is constantly looking for me. I'm going away for a few days,

after that I can go back to the office again this weekend. "

"Haha!" She laughs at his comment and interjects: "That man is ridiculous."
"Exactly, but he is a necessary evil, in which I unfortunately have to depend on."

He interrupts own his initial speech, then starts another. “Claire, you know that

my heart is forever grateful to you for all you have done this past week. Without
                   you it would’ve... "

“Alright, alright. I love you too. Don’t get sappy on me. I’ll see you in a couple of
