out to a point where she acts and doesn't think. That's what made the
combination of Tom and Olina so successful. Tom was the thoughtful type, Olina
the opposite.
Olina sits down with a heavy movement in one of the armchairs, with the gun
resting on the armrest.
"Well, he's gone and we're in a hurry."
“Yes, yes, I understand. I wouldn't have taken the shot. I just wanted to aim at
him. Maybe he would have seen it and reacted, ” says Olina.
"He wouldn’t have answered with fire. He was placed there to see if you would
be stupid enough to shoot, that was what it was all about.” Bjorn strokes his
short hair and looks with tired eyes out in front of him.
“Do you want coffee or something? We really need to think clearly and act
quickly. ”
"Are we going to let them go when they arrive with Tom?"
“Yes, let them get the money, we need to get out of that case as soon as possible
- at least on the surface. We need to rethink everything. Just make them believe
that they have scared us. I’ll take the full blame and responsibility. We got into a
trap, and now we just have to get out again."
He pauses the speech flow.
“I think there is an insider, maybe two, in this game, and the longer we are on
the task, the more visible we would become. I suspect there is something much
bigger going on in Germany than what we know of. The bottom line is that they
want us out – and quickly.”
He gets up and goes over to the refrigerator, which is located in the corner of
the office. He takes out a bottle of Moët & Chandon; there’s still nine bottles left
in the fridge. Usually it’s for important guests or a celebration, but for whatever
reason he thinks this is the right time. He doesn't drink beer neither does he like
wine that much, so he sticks to the champagne.
"Well, we'll be busy for the next 24 hours."
Olina walks to the side of the table where Bjørn is sitting, she opens a drawer, as
if it was her own house, and takes out a pack of cigarettes and puts it on the
table. Well, on paper Bjørn no longer smokes, since his wife doesn’t know that he
