The 3L2B Turk’s Head is the start for this one,
which also formed the beginning of the 5L4B Turk’s
Head. We start this one, therefore, with the 5L4B
Turk’s Head. Take note of this pattern of expansion,
called ‘Laddering’ – we will use it again for other
TH Knots.
3 Parallel the standing part to the left to form
another ‘ladder’.
1 start with a 5l4B.
4 split the first ladder over, under, over, under,
over.
2 Parallel the standing part to the right to form a
‘ladder’. note the side parts are the cords and
the rungs are the previous passes.
5 split the second ladder under, over three times.
