2 now wrap the fifth cord over the pair to the 3 tuck the right cord behind the pair and the left
left and tuck the end down through the loop
made by the second cord.

4 take the left cord up over the pair
and down into the loop formed by
the right cord, then pull tight. repeat
with the next set of four cords, then
switch cords for the next row of
knots. repeat as necessary. try also
knotting as right-over-left first
followed by left-over-right, so that
the ‘top bight’ of the knot switches
sides in alternating rows.
This shows a series of square knots formed and being
formed and the progression of building multiple knots
in one piece. Note how the cord pairs keep switching,
so that a triangle in progress is formed.
