Visitors’ Information
Halftime
All half-time activities will follow the UIL guidelines of
28 minutes. Principals will monitor their school’s allotted time. Halftime timing will begin when all players and per- sonnel have cleared the field at the end of the first half of play. Bands and drill teams should be ready at that time to come onto the field for their half-time performance.
Bands:
1-minute setup 12-minute performance
Football Teams: 2-minute team warmup
Halftime Press Box Access (video & announcer)
Only three personnel can access - announcement(s) and/ or videographer(s). Must have an identifying pass or school badge/ID to present to stadium staff. The elevator to the press box is in the center of the home side of the stadium.
Home Side Access During Halftime
Limited visiting school personnel may access the home side of the stadium to view halftime performances. There is no designated seating.
Field Access for Halftime
Chaperones or “Field Crew” members must have an iden- tifying pass, badge, or uniform to access the field during halftime. One will not be provided.
Spectators are not allowed on the field before, during or after the game.
Band vs. Band - When to Play?
The Visiting Band may play between the 1st & 2nd quar- ters. The Home Band will play between the 3rd and 4th quarters.
