Photography is a vital aspect of our business, but it’s not mandatory for you to rely on us as photographers. You have the freedom to use your own photographers, especially if we’re working as partners remotely. However, our con- sulting services offer you various options. We can assist by training and providing feedback to your photographers, suggesting improvements, reviewing their equipment and workflow, and more.
Additionally, we can be on-site with you for essential photography needs such as media days, playoffs, or champi- onships (subject to availability and event credentials provided by you), saving you time and travel expenses. We’ve observed instances where parent photographers have hired us to capture images of their players because our expertise and experience produce superior results compared to those who started with a camera at lower levels and continue shooting at the high school level.
The saying, “an image is worth a thousand words,” holds true for social media strategy even before computers exist- ed. When discussing your images, remember their profound impact. If your photographer (if they’re providing their services for free) isn’t fully up to the challenge, it may be time to elevate their skills or consider making necessary changes to ensure your visuals are impactful and effective. Paying for talent is never a bad idea.
