Daejeong Church is a church where Pastor Lee Do-jong,

the entire Jeju Island was in chaos due to the April 3 incident in 1948, he took care of
various churches including Daejeong Church.
In June 1948, while riding a bicycle to worship at Hwasun Church, he met a member of the
Communist Party and was taken into the mountains. Unfortunately, there was also a deacon
