Pilgrimage to Christian Heritage Sites in Korea
Churches! Let’s go on a two-day trip to the Heritage sites in Korea!
As the readers found the grace of God in the book, the author made the
“Domestic Holy Sites Tour” program and he has guided more than 100 trips
over 20 years. He feels rewarded, when he sees each group of church and
every single Christian get impressed during the trip.
For example, there was a Christian who joined the same course of a trip four
times and he said he experienced new grace every trip. Kim O Presbyterian
Church association joined the tour almost every year for six years.
These days, Christians go on a trip a lot. I hope they will be blessed by
traveling to the domestic holy places. My dream is that people from all over the
world come to this land and have a trip to the holy places in Korea.
Domestic Holy Sites Tour are divided into A course (Seoul, Gunsan, Yeonggwang,
Jeungdo, Mokpo, Yeosu, Gimje) , B course (Seoul, Ganghwa, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong) , and C
courses (Seoul, Daegu, Busan and Changwon) .
As a result of implementing “Domestic Holy Sites Tour,” it has been settled in
the Korean churches as “eaders training,” “church officers training,” and “pastor
couples conference,” and the fruits of spiritual improvement are abundant.
Especially, tasting local food, nice and cozy accommodation, and
companionship between Christians are gaining huge popularity.
This trip is a revival of spiritual and physical healing with 1,200km travel for
one night and two days, including evangelism, sacrifice, love, consideration,
and forgiveness by themes of “the roots of Korean churches,” “the first
missionary” and “the footsteps of martyrs.” The author will guide you

Experiencing God's amazing footsteps toward evangelization of Korea in a just few days!
When it comes to the pilgrimage, Israel and Turkey will immediately come to mind
for the most of Christians in Korea. Additional places will be Egypt, Jordan, Greece, - a testimony of a pastor who joined the tour
Rome, and Macedonia. However, it is true that the schedule and expenses are more
burdensome since these areas are so far from Korea. Actually, the 9 nights trip costs
at least 2 million won to 3 million won per person. However, there is a person who has
combined domestic pilgrimage with groundbreaking schedules and expenses (1/20 of
foreign pilgrimage) and presented it as a gift to the Korean Christians.
He is Rev. Sung Pil Lee, a revival instructor and a current photographer, who
published Pilgrimage Guide Books and the books of contemplation with data that he
has been collected by walking around the holy sites in Korea and in the world.
While praying, he has been carefully preparing a new traveling domestic Christian
revival rally for Korean churches and Christians. Numerous church associations,
pastors, seminaries, and professionals are already experiencing and testifying amazing
grace through this pilgrimage.
The reason why grace is added to his guide is that he has been paying attention
to and researching not only the history of the first church, medieval church, but
also Korean church history, and he is still in charge of teaching church history at the
seminary. Perhaps because of this, for a short domestic pilgrimage schedule of 1
night 2 days or 2 nights 3 days God's amazing providence that runs through Korean
church history can be vividly imprinted by a good storyteller, as if it was a movie.
The trip starts from Yanghwajin Foreign Mission Cemetery where you can feel
the birth of Korean missionary work, moves to Yeomsan Church which produced 77
martyrs (three-quarters of all church members), Maryangjin (the first Bible to be
passed on), Jeongdo Island (the martyrdom of the preacher Joon-kyung Moon who
founded more than 100 churches), and the trip will come to a climax at the Sorok
Island, Hansen’s disease Village, the place of martyrdom of Pastor Yang-won Son
who adopted a young man who murdered his two sons and spent his entire life with
leprosy patients. In addition, he has discovered more than 100 domestic pilgrimage
sites. I can say surely it is an attractive tour course since it is made by the author who
ran on his feet to all the holy sites, and the excellent food and accommodation with
beautiful scenery are enriching the pilgrimage. You can feel the breath of martyrdom
in Korea through a hot revival rally which will never be forgotten!
