         I which can only bring more industry members together as we grow
         stronger. The real strength of JHJ is not in numbers but in the individual
         strength it provides each jeweler.
          How? Let’s say a customer comes into a store to sell a 5 carat  Ruby.
         The jeweler might not know what a good offer is, but after consulting the
         group as to a fair offer price, that jeweler can now go back to the customer
         with ultimate confidence when they present an offer. The confidence that
         comes from the opinions of 11,000 jewelers from around the world.
          If you have ever dealt with customers you know the difference it makes
         when you really KNOW something and can strongly tell your customer
         about it. Your ability to sound like an expect can make the difference
         between the sale or a customer walking. It can make you look like an
         expert or a novice.
          A confident jewelry store owner will sell more jewelry and is better
         prepared to deal with problems. This is not just for making offers. Let’s
         say a jeweler is unsure how much to charge for an appraisal. Once they
         see what other jewelers are charging, it helps them be more confident in
         the price. Each time they tell a customer the price, they will feel stronger
         that their price is fair since they have seen it is within range of what other
         jewelers are charging.
          I t is my  hope that Jewelers  use Jewelers  Helping Jewelers  in this way.
         That jewelers who  have a jewelry question or are unsure on an issue, ask
         the group and then use the knowledge of their peers to help back up their
         choices.  Do  not  under  estimate  the  power  of  confidence.  Confidence
