HORIZON, 2020-21

My thoughts went back to the days,

when I had walked into the computer lab, saw
teachers computing marks using Excel sheets or

other related work, and my only thought was.

THANK GOD, I am not a class teacher, before I
made a quick exit.

Realisation hit me that I was literally scared
of trying to figure out our new connected world.

I was just not used to the language of

technology. I was unsure if I could really
learn to use technology with confidence. I

was distracted and frustrated by the others'
abilities. But then it also hit me that everyday

our lives are more intertwined with technology-

from ordering food to staying in touch with
family to even being an educator-

as in my case- and it was only going to

increase.

They say-WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH

THE TOUGH GET GOING
So I got down to business. I got myself

certified by taking an online course,

watched self help youtube videos-again and

again – till I got it right. I bombarded my
friends with questions and doubts (special

thanks to them ) which they patiently

answered and guided me.
