geniuses, spokespersons, Master Chefs and

Picassos? We need all of them to make it a

well-rounded class room, which includes

the class bully too! A class room is nothing

but a miniature society and the knack of

thriving here develops in children invaluable

interpersonal skills, gives them the

confidence to stand up for themselves and

for others, besides inculcating a feeling of

empathy for their class mates. When I feel

that our little ones are being denied this

wholesome experience, I wonder, “Why at

all this pandemic?”

Then a quote that I’d read some time back

flashed through my mind, “When I started

counting my blessings, my whole life turned

around” Yes! The powers that ‘allowed’ the

pandemic must definitely have had a

purpose in it. Is it time for us to introspect?

Be thankful for all that we have here and

now? Stop thinking all the time only of

ourselves? Reach out a helping hand to the

ones really suffering? This list can go on and

on...it’s up to us to choose.
