Jakob Versemann was appointed Vice
President Sales Airlines and MROs at Diehl
Aerosystems in June 2015. He started his career
in the aviation industry more than 14 years ago
– with different roles in sales and programme
management for aircraft cabins. What he likes
most about his job is the challenge of nding the
optimal solution for the customer and – what’s even
more exciting – bringing his company in line with always-evolving market needs.
Gary Weissel
Managing Of cer, Tronos Aviation Consulting
Gary Weissel is the Managing Of cer of Tronos Aviation Consulting, providing a wide range
of advisory services to the aviation industry with a focus on aircraft interiors. His aviation career spans 29 years. He spent 14 years at
ICF SH&E and also held positions in programme management, engineering and interiors at B/E Aerospace and Delta Air Lines.
Gary is a regular speaker at industry conferences and regularly quoted in industry articles. He regularly guest lectures at the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Aerospace Engineering. He is also an FAA licensed instrument rated pilot.
Adam Wells
Head of Design, Virgin Galactic
Adam Wells is an industrial designer with a
history of designing product-experiences
within Virgin Group. He is currently leading the development of Virgin Galactic’s product- experience, including cabin interiors and
seating systems onboard SpaceshipTwo as well as the development of facilities at Spaceport America where future astronauts will train before taking their space- ights.
In prior roles he designed Virgin America’s mood-lit cabin interiors, airport environments and uniforms and he has contributed to foundational design and brand concepts for Virgin Hotels and Virgin Voyages while working within Virgin Group.
Adam’s rst role within Virgin was at Virgin Atlantic, where he helped to invent and co-design its multi-award-winning Upper Class Suite.
