José Rui Marcelino founded Almadesign
Studio in 1997. He is responsible for the
company management and design projects
for transportation, product, and interior
design. He has been engaged in fostering
collaborative R&D projects in the transportation
area – aeronautic, automotive, railway and airport
– which involve several industrial companies and R&D
institutions for the development of innovative solutions.
José Rui has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (IST, Lisbon), a Master in Transportation Design (SPD, Milan) and a PhD in Product Design Process Management (FAUTL, Lisbon).

Oladimeji Olukolu

Oladimeji Olukolu is an accomplished
aerospace design engineer with over ten years’
experience working on various projects such
as conceptual designs, cabin recon gurations,
fuel system designs for OEMs and green cabin
completions.
Oladimeji was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical
Engineering by the University of Hull and he has an MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cran eld University. Besides garnering various other educational accolades, he has been a European Aviation Safety Agency Compliance Veri cation Engineer (EASA CVE) on multiple projects. Oladimeji has been responsible converting conventional services into modular products and spearheading innovative solutions to address aircraft lease end transition at SR Technics in Zurich, Switzerland. He is married with two children.

Paul Priestman is a designer, co-founding
director of PriestmanGoode and Global
Creative Director of CSR Sifang, one of the
world’s largest rolling stock manufacturers. For
over 25 years, the guiding principle in Paul’s
work has been his belief that design is not just
about styling, but about making things better.
Today, he is known for his work in aviation, transport
and product design, including the New Tube for London, as well as award- winning future concepts to improve our everyday lives and encourage sustainable, long-term thinking. In September 2017, Paul was awarded the London Design Festival Innovation Medal, which celebrates design and entrepreneurship in all its forms.
Scott Ralston

Scott Ralston is Vice President of Product
Management at Gogo, leading the
development and management of Gogo’s
passenger-facing in ight entertainment
and connectivity products and services. Scott
has more than 20 years’ experience in in ight
entertainment and ancillary services product
management, previously at Zodiac Aerospace and Thales Avionics.
Prior to this, he held various sales and marketing positions with entertainment companies including Paramount Pictures and AEI Music. He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton.

Beyond advising clients mainly in mobility/automotive and the insurance sector, Helmut is a speaker, lecturer and co-author of the visionary concept “Food & Mobility as a Service” and the book Transformation of Automotive Companies.
