       Nathaniel Giraitis
Director of Strategy, Smart Design
Part detective, part designer, Nathaniel Giraitis directs the user insight and design strategy efforts for Smart Design across industries such as transportation, healthcare,  nancial services, CPG, and entertainment.
He is passionate about getting to the root of
people’’s emotional and behavioural needs,
and pushes clients to focus on building customer
experiences rather than just creating products. He has a background in cultural anthropology and social psychology, alongside training in architecture and industrial design.
Jon Godson
Assistant Director, International Air Transport Association
Jon Godson joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 2008 and has over 27 years’ professional environmental management experience including four years with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Jon holds a BSc in Environmental Science, MSc in
Climate Change and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Waste Management. He is currently supporting the development of environmental management best practices for the airline sector and has been leading IATA’s activities related to cabin waste management since 2012.
Rosalyn Gough
Cabin Quality Product Manager, Thomas Cook Group Airlines
Rosalyn Gough has been part of the Cabin Quality Team at Thomas Cook Group Airlines since 2014. Her key focus is to ensure the  eet of more than 90 aircraft meet and exceed the expectations of Thomas Cook’s customers on- board, now and in the future.
With a mixed  eet, across four airlines within the group,
coupled with a variety of destinations, managing  exibility is key to successful operations and the overall customer experience.
Kate Green
Director of Strategy and Business Development, Viasat
Kate Green is the Director of Strategy and
Business Development at Viasat, a global
communications company that is bringing
connectivity and entertainment to residential,
aviation, government and underserved global
communities. She leads the company’s integrated
marketing partnership initiatives, connecting the largest content, media and e-commerce companies to Viasat’s vast consumer base.
Prior to joining Viasat, Kate spent 10 years at StubHub, where she led the Sports Business Development group, overseeing partnerships with major sports, entertainment and technology companies. Kate is based in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Anant Grewal
Program Leader, National Research Council of Canada
Anant Grewal joined the National Research
Council of Canada (NRC) in 2006 as a
Research Of cer, and in 2012 assumed the role
of Program Leader of the NRC’s Working and Travelling on Aircraft research programme. In this capacity he leads the programme in the area of
the aircraft cabin environment, cabin safety and  ight deck human factors.
Anant received a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 1985, followed by a Master of Science (Aerospace Engineering) from the University of Minnesota in 1987, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UBC in 1994.
Anant is a co-inventor of six patents, and has authored or co-authored over 100 technical reports, and journal and conference papers. He is also a joint- professor at Ryerson University.
Robin Hopper
Senior Vice President Product & Marketing, Guestlogix
Robin is SVP Product & Marketing with a wide range of expertise in software development,
user experience, marketing automation, customer relationship management and data analytics. He has been instrumental in product development for major brands inside and outside the airline industry.
With Robin’s leadership, Guestlogix has built a powerful, intuitive, full-suite airline commerce platform that transforms onboard retail into a true sales and marketing channel. His contributions have laid the foundation for a new passenger experience, helping airlines break down data silos using open application programming interfaces (APIs), mine data with predictive and prescriptive analytics, and create personalized, relevant offers for higher revenue and loyalty.
Anthony James
Editorial Director, Aircraft Interiors International Magazine
As the founding editor of Aircraft Interiors
International,  rst published in 1998, Anthony
James has 20 years experience in researching,
reporting and commenting on the latest airline
cabin trends, technologies and innovations. He
has attended every single Aircraft Interiors Expo,
and also had the honour of presenting the Crystal
Cabin Awards, having served as a judge for the awards since their inception. Appointed editorial director for UKI Media & Events in March 2011, Anthony
is responsible for the editorial content and quality of over 30 publications, including Aircraft Interiors International, Passenger Terminal World and Business Jet Interiors International.
