Agnès Debains is an active advocate for the digitalization of the air duty free and travel services industry, and the key role it plays in unleashing value creation for airlines while enhancing passenger experience.
She is a marketing expert with over ten years of
experience, spending the last  ve years as Digital
& E-Commerce Director for French cosmetics brands.
Agnès is one of the three Co-Founders of airfree, the Marketplace of the Sky.
Nigel Duncan

Since 2013 Nigel Duncan, CEO of STG
Aerospace, has been steering STG Aerospace
on a highly impressive trajectory of global
growth, through his experience and leadership
vision. Building on, and further developing, the
success of the market-leading, photoluminescent
saf-Tglo® brand, he has overseen the introduction
of innovative new products, including the fast-growing
liTeMood® range of holistic LED cabin lighting solutions.
Under his leadership, STG Aerospace has taken advantage of its ongoing pro tability to invest substantially in a pioneering research centre in Wales,
a new manufacturing facility in Miami, and a wholly-owned subsidiary company in China. Over the course of 25+ years, Nigel has held a wide range of roles within the aerospace industry and secured over $1.5 billion of growth in new markets at the same time as driving signi cant margin improvements and increased operational pro ts.
Dr Gary Edwards
Founder and President, Golfdale Consulting
Dr. Gary Edwards helps leaders of the world’s best-known brands take a Decision Sciences approach to solving complex business challenges. Gary currently heads up Golfdale Consulting with his partner, specialising in research, insights, and communications for leading-edge digital companies.
Previously he built and lead all client-facing functions
at Empathica, a pioneering customer experience
management company. He has also worked for top global market research  rms: Maritz:Thompson Lightstone, as Senior Vice President; and Gallup Canada, rising to Country Manager and Senior Vice-President.
Before his commercial career, Gary was an epidemiologist, analysing health trends in a multi-year tracking study for the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry.
He holds MA (Psych) and PhD (Social Policy) from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. His Hon. BA (Psych) is from the University of Western Ontario.
Blake Emery
Director, Differentiation Strategy, Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Blake Emery is Director, Differentiation
Strategy for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Blake in uenced the “Boeing Sky Interior”
philosophy which has informed all Boeing
interiors beginning with the 787 Dreamliner.” He
recently facilitated the design of a 777X entry and
the wingtips of the 737MAX. He is named on over 20 U.S
design patents for exterior, interior, and seat design. He is an avid practitioner of taijiquan.
Christina Fagin
Industrial Designer, Circular Economy Expert, Grüner Hering
German industrial designer Christina Fagin has a vision to recover new economic potential through circular economy strategies. In the Netherlands, the country that claims to be
the circular hotspot, she analysed sustainable
business cases for their success factors. Based on
her  ndings Christina then developed and facilitated
workshops together with the Dutch organisation Circle Economy that guided designers and SMEs through the innovation process for circular economy product and business concepts. Back in her hometown, Hamburg, she founded the agency Grüner Hering that now spreads the circular vision in Germany.
Craig Foster
Senior Consultant, Valour Consultancy
Craig Foster is the co-founder of Valour Consultancy. He has extensive experience covering a wide variety of technology markets including the Internet of Things, Machine-to Machine (M2M), smart home, smart grid, home energy management, maritime VSAT and in- ight entertainment and connectivity.
Prior to establishing Valour Consultancy, Craig was
a principal analyst at ABI Research and a market analyst at IMS Research.
At ABI, he launched a new research area devoted to the home automation market, before focusing his efforts on expanding the research portfolio of the company’s M2M service. At IMS, Craig was responsible for the company’s then-nascent aerospace research group.
Joel Fragata
Head of In-Flight & On-Ground Product, TAP Air Portugal
Joel Fragata joined TAP Air Portugal’s Marketing Department in 2007. He started with catering product management then embraced his  rst cabin interiors challenge with the A350 and
A330 NEO. In January 2017 he was appointed Head of In-Flight and On-Ground Product Department and heads up Cabin Interiors, IFE and Catering product de nition.
Joel graduated in Economics from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and began his career at PGA-Portugália Airlines in the Finance Department, however he soon discovered his passenger experience mission when he was appointed as In-Flight Service Director.
Célia Geslin
Head of Product & Customer Experience, Joon
Célia Geslin, a graduate of Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (USA), TU Delft (the
Netherlands) and Collège des Ingénieurs
(MBA, Paris, France), is a specialist in travel and
transportation. She has held several positions in
strategy, revenue management and marketing
within Air France-KLM group in the last ten years.
She joined the launch team of Joon in summer 2017.
Célia is now responsible for the customer experience and in- ight product.
