        Doug Ackerman
Director, Payloads Supply Chain Strategy, Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Doug Ackerman is responsible for developing
and aligning supply chain strategies for
Payloads, including interiors, seats and cargo
systems, across Boeing’s commercial airplane
programme and related functional organisations.
Since joining Boeing in 1990, Doug has held many
positions in Program and Interiors Engineering, including
777 Airplane Level Integration, leading new interior development on the 767, 777 and 747 programmes, developing long-range concepts in Product and leading the Payloads engineering skill. Doug holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.
Vern Alg
Consultant, Reed Exhibitions
Vern Alg is the Industry Consultant for Aircraft Interiors Expo and principal at ALG Consulting. He has worked in many aspects of the airline industry for multiple airlines since 1965. His passion for aircraft interiors was realized 25 years ago. Since his retirement from Continental Airlines in 2008, he has continued his association with
the industry through consulting as well as his travels throughout the world.
Dan Aronov
President, Napaway Coach
Dan Aronov is the President of Napaway
Coach, an American start-up provider
of overnight intercity passenger coach
transportation. A lifelong transport enthusiast
with a background in  nance, Dan organised
Napaway because he saw a need for a
comfortable and convenient way to move between
cities without the hassle and stress of  ying, particularly
for a highly mobile and connected millennial generation.
He is a graduate of Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
Andrew Barker
In- ight Product Manager, Air New Zealand
Andrew Barker has been an Air New Zealander
for 18 years. He operated as cabin crew for
10 years before moving into Service Delivery.
Andrew is now responsible for the operational
delivery of product to aircraft and in- ight
service delivery. In recent years a core focus
has been working with Air New Zealand’s key partners to sustainably reduce in- ight waste for social, environmental and commercial bene t.
David Bartlett
Chief Technology Of cer, Panasonic Avionics
Panasonic Avionics is pushing the boundaries
of technology to create the next generation of
travel experience. David Bartlett leads this with
a focus on digital strategy and transformation,
including everything from IT business strategy
and security, to data science and UX-led
innovation. His work in the transportation sector
started with IBM as VP of Industry Solutions. David also
served as CTO for GE Aviation and CTO for GE intelligent Buildings where his corporate campus work was nominated along with Facebook and Google. Along with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry and a Master’s program in Computer Science, David holds a MBA from Kenan-Flagler, UNC at Chapel Hill and a Master’s and PMP certi cation from George Washington.
Harriet Baskas

Dennis Bauer

After his business management studies at
Maastricht University and Ludwig-Maximilians
University in Munich, Dennis Bauer worked for
the Company Builder Rocket Internet. Due to
his experience in the start-up area, he then
decided to go for a growing technology start-up,
which he scaled internationally with headquarters
in the USA, the Netherlands and Germany. Here he was
responsible for marketing, sales and change management. At the beginning of 2017, Dennis moved to the software company conichiwa, which he now manages.
Christiane Bausback
Managing Director and Head of Design, N+P Industrial Design
Christiane Bausback is Managing Director
and Head of Design of N+P Industrial Design.
Together with her international team she strives
for innovation, visions and high quality results,
supporting customers from around the world from
the initial idea until the market-launch.
Parallel to her professional activities, she is also guest-
lecturing mainly in Europe. Many of her designs have received numerous national and international design awards.
