BRUCE E. BROOKS, P.E., LEED AP
Principal in Charge
Bruce is the founder and principal of Bruce E. Brooks & Associates,
a professional engineering corporation. He has more than 40 years of
experience in engineering design and administration, including work
abroad. Historic restoration, renovation and adaptive reuse, along with
master planning, are Bruce’s specialties.
As principal in charge for the MEP portion of a project, Bruce has
ultimate responsibility for the success of BBA’s role in a project. He is
actively involved in the pre-design phase, providing input into technical
and phasing issues and attends key project meetings.

Glencairn Museum Master Plan and Renovations, Bryn Athyn, PA EDUCATION
Design and construction administration services for the renovation of mechanical Princeton University, Bachelor
of Science in Engineering
and electrical systems based on recommendations of our 2017 MEP systems
feasibility study. The project involves most of this seven story, 65,000 square foot CERTIFICATION

Wharton Esherick Museum HVAC System Replacement, Malvern, PA PA
Founded in 1926, the Wharton Esherick Museum evolved from a sculpting LEED Accredited Professional
studio, farmhouse and home into a museum and visitor’s center. The museum’s
nearly 40-year-old HVAC system was highly inefficient and difficult to repair. BBA MEMBERSHIPS
surveyed existing equipment and performed a conditions assessment developing Association of Energy Engineers

Arch Street Meeting House HVAC Assessment and Plan, Philadelphia, PA
Conditions assessment and master plan of the 24,000 SF Arch Street Meeting House Pennsylvania Engineers in

which dates back to 1804. The conditions assessment was of the building’s HVAC
systems. The master plan was to establish long-term goals for the HVAC systems and Preservation Alliance for

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS
Historical Society of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA AIA Philadelphia Affiliate
HSP is the largest repository for ethnic and immigrant history and the third largest
archive for genealogy in the country. Phase 1 services for this historic 88,000 SF, Athenaeum of Philadelphia
four-story building consisted of a conditions assessment, energy audit, and master Society for College and

the amount of water used to extinguish a fire in order to protect the irreplaceable
