Design Statement: Core States Group has over 20 years
of experience working with Walmart. Our architects
have completed Walmart Supercenter remodels, Walmart
Neighborhood Market remodels, Walmart Express new
builds, and several special projects to include the program
management of 1,000+ store portfolio for overnight shut-
down and electrical upgrade, fuel cell implementation,
delivery of EV Charging stations, 500kW - 1,000kW
generator program, electrical trailer connection design,
and a power study program. In addition, our A/E team
created Walmart’s 2,900 SF c-store prototype. While
developing this new prototype, we assembled a value
engineering study, identifying $200,000 in construction
cost savings, by reducing the number of corners on the
building, revisiting the roof drainage, aligning lighting
design to programmed light levels, and relocating
electrical equipment.
